On June 7, 2017, Professor Noel O’Dowd from University of Limerick in Ireland came to visit our center with the company of Professor Dongfeng Li from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen. Kai He, the director of CPE, showed them around for the whole process.
Professor Noel O’Dowd visited Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Precision Engineering. Kai He introduced some sheet metal forming projects and automatic robot projects that CPE undertook in recent years. Professor Noel O’Dowd showed great interest in the work CPE has done.
Later, both sides held talks. Professor Noel O’Dowd told Kai He that, several universities in Ireland are working together to build one automation center, which will be funded by the government. So we are all looking forward to having close cooperation between both sides.
